4. Because the structure length of the butterfly valve is short. It can be made into a large mouth. We should choose butterfly valves if the structure length is short and the diameter of the valves needs large (such as DN1000 above).
5. Because the butterfly valve can be opened or closed only by rotating 90 degrees, it is appropriate to choose the butterfly valve in the case of fast opening and closing.
The selection principle of ball valves:
1. If the pipeline should be cleaned, and the valve needs to be buried in the ground on the oil, natural gas transmission main line, all-pass and all-welded structure of ball valves are selected. If the valves need to be buried on the ground, we can choose a flanged ball valve or a full bore welded one. The flanges, welding, full bore or reduced bore ball valve can be chosen for the branch pipe.
2. Use a flanged ball valve on the product oil pipeline and storage equipment.
3. The flanged and internal threaded floating ball valve can be used on the city gas and natural gas pipeline.
