The Construction Plan and Notes of PE Ball Valves

I. Notes before construction

1. The buried depth is in accordance with gas construction regulations. If the buried depth exceeds the construction regulations, protective pipes must be used.

2. Remove the stones, gravel and other debris after digging, and then you should pave and press it with sand about 10cm thick.

3. The piping of the ball valve and connecting junction shall be kept horizontal and vertical before construction.

4. Other buried objects should be kept buried distance.
(1) Regional heating and other buried objects above 60℃: the distance of THP after other protective measures should be kept more than 30cm.
(2) Water pipes, electrical facilities and communication cables: more than 30cm. 
(3) Water pipes: more than 20cm.

II. We should pay attention to the use of the butt-welding of ball valves as follows.

1. To confirm the geographical location of the installation of ball valves: when there is water or moisture on the ground, change the installation position or remove the water or moisture completely and ensure that the site does not sink. The foundation must be firmly pressed, and then you should adjust the pipe to a horizontal position with the ground.

2. One end of the pipe is first fixed to the welding machine, and then you should open the package of ball valves. The ball valve is fixed on one end. If the fixed length of the butt-welding machine is not sufficient, the ball valve can not be fixed by using two fixing machines. The other end of the ball valve is adjusted to the same height as the fixing machine. 

3. Fixing → surface processing → heating plate installation → pressure welding → heating and maintenance → bonding → cooling → welding machine separation.

4. Weld the pipe at the other end according to the welding method after it is fixed.

Note:

1. During the operation, the identification arrow on the upper side of the ball valve must be consistent with the flow of gas.

2. In order to prevent the ball valve from flowing into different substances in the welding operation, the inner surface of the ball valve is blocked by using packaging bags.

3. The pipe and ball valve should be fused horizontally and vertically.

4. It takes about 30 minutes for the welding machine to cool down after separation.

5. Take the handle of T-type ball valves out of the box and after assembly, insert the handle completely into the knob.
Note: use the "T" handle to test the switch state of the ball valves

6. To confirm whether the ball valve has a switch action: the length and direction of the adapter of the ball valve straight PE pipe must be marked (-), it is an open state at this time. The straight vertical indicator marked with (‖) is closed. Close: Turn the adapter 90° clockwise while it is on. Open: Turn the adapter 90° counterclockwise in the closed state. Top adapter for the gearbox? About 180°. The 90° switch action of rotary arrows is a full close state. The full open state can not be opened or closed.

7. Use the release ball valve airtight to test.

8. The sand laying is used around the knob of ball valves.

III. The use of electric melting sleeves

1. To confirm the geographical location of the installation of ball valves: when there is water or moisture on the ground, please change the installation position or place the water or moisture completely. In order to ensure that the site does not sink, the foundation must be firmly pressed before the pipe is adjusted to level with the ground.

2. Pipes: Confirm whether the pipe is at a right angle when it is cut off. If it is not at a right angle, it should be cut off again.
