Floating Ball Valves Obtained Fire Test Certificates
Under the influence of the COVID-19, our factory still chooses to develop continuously. In order to meet the API 607 fire certificate of conformity with technical requirements, the factory decided to re-manufacture a series of ball valves for the fire test in the Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau in Yongjia, Wenzhou on April 2, 2020. These valves are 2 Inch 150 LB floating ball valve, 4 Inch 150 LB floating ball valve, 2 Inch 600 LB floating ball valve, and 1-1/2 Inch 1500 LB floating ball valve. And after half an hour of the fire test, these valves successfully passed the test and obtained certificates because they had no leakage.
The qualified ranges of floating ball valves are as following: 150 LB: 1/2 Inch - 8 Inch; 300 LB: 1/2 Inch - 8 Inch; 600 LB: 1/2 Inch - 4 Inch; 900 LB: 1/2 Inch - 3 Inch; 1500 LB: 1/2 Inch - 2 Inch; 2500 LB: 1/2 Inch - 2 Inch. The chief engineer of the technical department said that we chose conventional materials for tests instead of special ones.
