Floating DBB Ball Valve
Double Block and Bleed Valves assure double isolation function thanks to two obturators inserted in a single body and they provide the bleed function by means of a bleed/vent system located between obturators (body port and ball, gate or needle valve), from the floating ball valve design, Med DBB valves with several different constructions.
1. Double fixed balls hinged on supports, and floating metal or soft seats, central needle vent valve.
2. Size Range from 1/2-2 Inch, large sizes on request.
3. Pressure Range: from ASME Class 150-2500 LB.
4. Temperature Range: from -46 to 450.
5. Side Entry Forged Steel Valves.
6. On request, Top-Entry design.
7. Low-pressure loss through the valve.
8. Low actuation torque.
9. "CE" marking in compliance with PED Directive 97/23/EC.
10. Full bore or Reduce bore.
11. Different kinds of ends connections (RF/RTJ) Flanges, Butt weld, Clamp Connection, Socket Welding.
12. Wide availability of materials depending on the specifications(carbon steel, stainless steel or Duplex steel for service in corrosive environments, Chrome-Molybdenum alloy steel for high-temperature service, etc.
13. Materials with anti-corrosion properties according to NACE MR 0175.
14. On request, seat pocket area overlay, seal area overlay, or completed cladding on the wetted surface (welded overlays in Inconel 625, Stainless Steel 316, etc., or Electroless Nickel Plating).
15. Suitable for a wrench or motorized actuation (hydraulic, pneumatic, gas-over-oil or electric actuator).
